I was $ 500.00 away from trading my '03 CLS for an S2000. Our members here didn't feel it was a good swap, so I kept it.

Save and get the 430, the new body style is coming out soon, so you should be able to get a killer deal on a used 430

why do you say that soop?

Slightly off the subject
the day i bought my CL-S purely out of coincidence. I was going to buy a CLK 320 but the dealer made comment that pissed me off. When we were negotiating the price the salesmen said ,"maybe a mercedes isnt the car for you" indicating that i was out of my league. so i went next door to the Acura dealership and bought the CL-S. I drove it back to the Mercedes dealership and showed him how serious i was and then i got a hold of the manager and told him how he lost a sale because of his stupid salesman. He was less then happy. That was fun. I don't regret the purchase...it was probably smarter that I got the CL-S, its definately alot faster. But that "classic feeling" isnt their. Maybe i'm talkin out of my ass

I love the way the CLK looks, i dunno mercedes makes designs that look good even 15 years down the road.

i was in same situation, I had a '01 CLK430 designo edition on order...

then the cl came out.

better interior... more features... half the price. i could buy the CL for the same i would have leased the CLK for.

so i went for the CL.

was a smarter move for sure.

my friend has a CLK430 now and the thing is shit... fucking car is just falling apart. and the interior is soooooo old.

Yeah, i definately happy with all the money I saved!!! hehehe now that you metion it when i was test driving the merc i remember asking the salesman why they interior was creaking....i guess i was blinded by the lust for a mercedes!! Well, the salesman took care of that for me!! hahahah
