Man, I can't beleive you have waited this long to get that fixed seeing that you have a 2001. Mine started driving me crazy in the 1st 6 mo's.

Did it just start making noise?

BTW: I had the dealer fix mine, I believe they put tape along the weather stripping.

I thought there was a simple fix for this problem??

Something about putting a piece of clear tape by the weatherseal?

Yeah, it's a simple fix and there is a service bulletin on it.

DO NOT use vasaline on it though! It'll break down the rubber seal. Same reason why you don't use it as a lubracant for sex - it'd break down the composition of the condom!

Pics please?

Hell yeah, that's what I need... annoying as hell... I can't hear the other rattles over the noise of the sunroof!

Anyone got pics of exactly where the tape goes and what kind of tape it is?

Clear packaging tape? Scotch tape? Burbon tape?

Can I just use some KY jelly?

Help a newbie out.

Just bring it into the dealer. They know exactly how to fix it; under warranty of course.
