Would DeBadging void lease?

I am interested in debadging my car, but it is a lease. Would debadging it void the lease? I am aware i could always throw the emblems back on at the end of my lease
(2 years left). The only thing i am worried about is the big A symbol on the back. It has 2 little holes so i would have to get them filled in, but could i punch 2 holes back in to put the symbol back on? Would anyone know a cost on this whole procedure? Thanks for your help.

I think that if "someone stole the emblems off your car" you would not be responsible. As for the A symbol..you're gonna have to live with that one...unless you get it filled in...but dong that might cause the dealer to charge you because those are not normal wear and tear items.

You plan on taking everything off?! If you're worried about punching new holes in your trunk, you may want to take everything off EXCEPT the Acura symbol. I think that may look cool, and I know a lot of fella's have been doing that.

you would still be responsible for damage to the car during the term of the lease, even if the "damage" is from theft, alleged or otherwise. the person leasing the car has the responsibility to repair or replace broken or missing equipment or the dealer can charge for excessive wear and tear and/or repairs.

when you go to return a leased vehicle, the dealer generally gives you a wear and tear "allowance" (around $500 usually) which will cover the 1st $500 required to bring the car back to saleable condition. they hit you for everything including door dings, worn interior pieces, and missing emblems. if the total comes out to $500 or less (or whatever the allowance is) you pay nothing. if it's more, you pay the difference.

if the only damage / wear to the car when the lease is terminated are a few missing emblems, then the damage allowance will most likely cover that and it won't cost you a dime.

I would definately want to take everything off. Would it be hard putting all these symbols back on and would it be possible to punch two holes and put the acura symbol back on?
