IS it worth the time: The Ultimate Drive™, to raise money for breast cancer research

In partnership with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, BMW organizes an annual event, The Ultimate Drive™, to raise money for breast cancer research. It's your opportunity to test drive a BMW, and show your spirited support. Sign-up today. All the information you need to participate is right here, including on-line registration.

I check the lcoal BMW, it for tomorrow, not a single M in the test line... only low powered 3 series X5 3.0 and few 540i

I did this last month at Flemington BMW...well worth it. I earned $2 for every mile I drove, got to drive 3 of them (3,5,7 - hated the 5). They served a good breakfast, let everybody drive on their own although they did give directions, I took a slightly longer drive to squeeze out more miles. Then when I was done, they let me sign my name on a 60K+ 750 in BLACK MAGIC MARKER that goes on tour with this campaign. Just make sure that if you do it, you make reservations (up to 3) so you don't have to wait like all of the walk ins did that day. The next weekend I walked in the rain for the same cause...that sucked big time compared to driving the BMW's in the sunshine!

I did it in ATL a few years ago and got to drive a M coupe, roadster, 328, 540, 750, 323, 528. I'd recommend it.

I just did this a couple months ago, and I had a great time. I'd never driven a BMW before but that day I drove the new 7 series, a 530 manual, a 330ci, a 330 ci vert, a 325xi, a Z3 2.5 manual, and an X5 4.4. I was just a walk in and I never had to wait in line, there were always a few cars sittin around. Unfortunately they no longer have any M cars available to drive.
