WooHoo!!

Got my headers installed today and I really thought the performance increase was all hype...But, I must say that I felt a dramatic difference...My car sounds GREAT with the headers and my exhaust...recommend this as #1 priority upgrade list after springs...

CL-Super,

Where in the power band did you feel the dramatic difference?

mostly I feel the headers kick in at very high rpm around 6000+ the rpm just takes off.

Nova,

WTF? 6000 rpm? That's like only 900 more rpm before limiter kicks in! All that for > $1000? No thanks! There's gotta be some benefit at around 5000 rpm, right?

Frank, here's the dyno from comptech. @ 5800 the headers really start to perform. By 6600 you've gained 30+ horses.

Mike,

Thanks for the info. I saw that chart too a while back, but sometimes Dyno HP is not the same as real world perception...you know what I mean?

So in your opinion, is there a significant pull from 5000 on ward?
