Wood Trim removal

Anyone know how to take out the wood trim in the back seats of the CL. I was looking a little closer at the rears and it appears the wood is plastic molden into the rears of the car. I assume its the same for the fronts. Anyhow, what I'm getting at is has anyone been able to take off that those wood pieces? I want to take them off and take it to a body shop to paint it another color. Brown wood and black interior isn't the best combo of colors.

That would look pretty good, but first you gotta actually get the OEM shit outta there, and that is no easy task. In order to the doors, you gotta do major work. Put bluntly, its not worth the work.

Well since no one bothered to give you an answer, I give you some advice.
