Would it be possible to replace my '01 CL's burlwood trim with the the aluminum trim from the '03 CL?

My CL is a Parchment interior.

I believe the aluminum is only available in black...


So can the pieces be put on my door panels?!?

According to a reply by NSXNEXT on the TL board regarding a similar question....

"The only way to do this is to find someone who has the wood grain interior and trade with them. You cannot buy the door panel pieces"

so I would imagine that this might be a hassle of a project....

I can get the door panels.

My question is... would I be able to take the aluminum trim OFF of a black panel... and put it on my parchment panels.

The sides of the console yes, the door panels will not come off, and Acura only sells them with the door panel, that is what shot down my trim kit options I was trying to work on.

If you ever wanted to take your door pieces off, and send them in somewhere to get coated, here is instructions

You can take them off using a soldering iron, and burn a hole in the center, to get them apart
