Wiring Question, especially for the Tein EDFC owners.
Just wanted to know where you guys tapped into the cars wiring for the 3 power wires for the EDFC unit. I am probably going to put the unit in my glove box, or maybe in between the seats.
I do alot of work on my cars, but wiring is definitely not my forte
I need to tap into 3 wires;
1. constant power wire ( the yellow EDFC wire)
2. Accessory Power (Red EDFC wire)
3. Illumintaion power supply (Green EDFC wire)
Id appreciate any help you guys can give me. Was wondering if maybe all 3 can be tapped at the fuse box somehow on the passenger side. Thanx in advance, and Happy Thanxgiving guys.

i dont know about the fuse box on the passenger side, but i know you can deffinatly grab constant and accessory from the main ignition harness under the dash itself.
if you take down the dash you will see a black tube running to the steering colum (its shinny black) take a razor blade and cut the surround off and the wires will be in there , ( if you have an alarm they will most likely already be down and have taps on them.
the constant is a THICK white wire , the accessory is the yellow wire in that bundle ( there should be like 6 wires total i think )
and if by illumintaion you mean parking light
you can grab the positive lead in the 4 pin grn plug top of pass. fuse box , its a Red/Black( red wire with a black stripe) .
i would jsut put a fuse on all of these and to get a the wire on them i would use a wire tap( have them at radio shack) or if you have to wrap a wire around it and make sure to tape it so nothing can touch it.

Thanx for the help guys.
The EDFC works on the Tl/CL, but it does NOT clear the hood on the CL-S. so on the CL-S, its only useful for the rears.
96, I had a question, for the accessory wire, and illumination wires, if I ran the wire from any fuse that had power only when the car was on, like the reverse lights, etc, wouldnt that be enough? Thanx again

wow i didnt know that it wouldnt work for the fronts on the cls, by any chance do you know what it hits?
you could do that but , personally i would just go to the main harness its not that hard to do , but either way deffinatly fuse it
