Wiper question... & rock chips.

I have the Bosch wipers/arms. Was getting pretty bad streaking on the driver's side even tho these are only 2 months old. Went back to where I bought them for and the guy replaced the driver's side no problem. But he pointed out 2 small rock chips that he says is the problem for the streaking (ruining the blade). These are very very small rock chips. Is there a way I can sand them down? What with?

Thanks.

I've done the sanding thing before. Just take some 160-220 grit and brush it along the blade at a 45 angle. It doesnt always work and it wont be like new ones but it does give a little extra life.

If you go to safelite auto systems, they will fill the cracks with epoxy. It keeps the window from cracking further. Your insurance generally willpay. Costs about $60 per chip.
