winter project

Un Acura related but as being an ex CL-S owner I figured I would share my latest project

here is another pic

That is a 32v DOHC 5.4 V8 should be about 550 rwhp and 590rwtq. Project is almost complete, just need to add powersteering and ac compressor off of the orginal motor when I take it out.

No one likes my winter project? Personally I think its kind of impressive considering it took almost 9 months to build that motor. Well I guess this isn't the forum for that.

Yeah I saw the lightning on the drag strip... damm fast.

The stock engine is SC too. What did do to up HP from 380 to 550 HP? Changed the boost. Internal rebuilt. You have a Auto Tranny. Without a rebuilt "Racing" Auto Tranny, you betyou will run into tranny problems the minute you go WOT.

Good luck again and nice truck you have!

I had the tranny completly done over by a place called level 10 in NJ should be about to put up with about 650ft/tq and 650hp, so that should be all set. My main concern is destroying drive shafts.

Keep us posted how the tranny will hold up! How much time and money does it cost to upgrade the tranny?

A lot of Supra guys were not happy with Level 10 upgrade.

Good luck.
