Winter Mats?

Where can I get Winter floormats for my CL S? I know there is a website where I can order them, but I forgot what it is... They were black. I just realized I need them big time. We were supposed to get an inch of snow, we ended up with four.
Also... I picked my car up, and the heater problem was due to the hblower being disconnected. Service was $30. 3.5K mile checkup was in there too.

The mats aren't that expensive from Acura either. I think I paid $49 with tax.

MacNiel also has mats with huge channels for slop. They advertise in most of the mags. (Although their site now wants you to call instead of using online ordering? I got them myself, love them but remember I'm just the messenger here)

I've seen both Acura and MacNiel and the MaNiel holds melted water by the ton.

Here's their url … http://www.macneilauto.com/store/

Get the Acura mats. They are custom cut for the floor shape, and that makes all of the difference in the world. I use them in all weather.
The Weather Tech mats are great, and I use them in our Toyota Sienna, since Toyota does not offer the custom cut mats.

Frankly, I am torn between the two. The acura mats do fit well, although I would like to see them cover the foot rest since I use it and it is covered with gunk now. Also the acura mats do not have a high enough rim to hold enough water IMO. However, they do fit to the post in the floor which keeps then from sliding around, a problem with other mats, including weathertech.

Go eitherway and you will neither be totally satisfied or totally disappointed. IMO

This morning I ordered a pair of the OEM Winter mats from my dealer for 49 bucks.
They didn’t have them in stock, so I will be getting them the middle of week.

How do you guys clean the floormats? Take out the mats and wash them with water?

I have seen both mats and the weathertech without a doubt hold more slop and DO NOT SLIDE AROUND. Maybe its because I have removed the stock rugs for the winter so that the weathertech won't sit so high. Sitting high is not good especially when wearing winter boots, etc, so after vacuuming the stock mats I put them away in the box that the weathertech came in.

BTW as for that hook to secure the stock mats, watch out as some hamhanded washer guy at my dealership tore out that hook when vacuuming my car. Easy enough to fix as its screwed in but still he should have fixed it since he broke it.

Good luck …
