Wings... "hate mail?"

Morning guys Now I know I'm gonna get some hate mail on this one but I like to be different and I found a carbon fiber wing. I know I know.... its actually not on the car. My freind C. is acting as the nuts to hold it on..... The pics are at Battle of the imports where I put the car in the show.... What the heck, It was fun though... A wild integ not as clean or fast won the best of Acura at the show..I wanted to his car....

Let the hating begin:angry: :shakehd:

As I said the hate will start...... I know Here maybe this will sooth you......

im not gonna flame.. but i'll put it in a performace perspective.

that wing does nothing for your car except for adding drag at higher speeds. it's a waste on a fwd street car.

Personally I'm not a fan of any kind of spoiler/wings on cars, but I've always been wondering what the CL would look like with that kind of wings on.. Thanks you've anwsered my question.

Please tell me that your spoiler is held down only by 3M Double sided tape , it's gotta go unless you do more mods like body kit and exhausts

LOL you guys make me crackup... Like I said, I had a buddie hold it on just to take som pics. What do y'all think if it wern't so high? I mean if the wing was a bit closer to the car itself. Also the brackets could be further out towards the end of the wing. Would that help at all?
Actually how many of you guys have taken their cars to that governed speed of 150????? Comon dont be shy
3M tape... bro your smokin the dope cause personally, when I get the chance I just love to wack the governer and drive just below it. I don't think that 3M would hold it on at those speeds.. I dono, what do ya'll think?

Another Q why is it that one says wings on fdw cars serve no performance purpose? I have to say that on my 2001 with the wing high speeds were more stable. No seriously and this is why I've been looking in at wings, not the 7 bills type either (ie.stock) Gots to love the hate... its all good though. Peace

Whats wrong ya'll just want to and me?

Where's the

"hate mail"

Hey look, someone's using an email term to describe people's posted responses to his rice on a message forum.

Get off my Internet (and take your homosexual "wing" with you).

WTH

you live up in santa clarita d00d, you just bought your car from valencia acura....

When you buy it? I think I remember you at the dealership...unless I am thinking of the wrong person....

Did you get all your parts at the dealership or elsewhere?

Maybe us santa claritans can meet up, we got 4-5 people up here now....

Nick

Negative. That style wing is just not built for our car, regardless of height, location, whatever.

Allright Allright, I just wanted to get you guys all rialed up and it worked.

Yea the car was bought at valencia acura, same with the 2001. As far as why I ddn't buy it from superior acura is that they basically started out giving me a large jar of vasoline. In my book that is not ok!

I too live here in bakerspatch over by stockdale high. I agree we all aught to meet up sometime with the santa clertia (SP) guys. it would be fun. Not a huge drive too.. I could do that in a day
