Windshield Wipers

mine are already bad and I don't know why. I never run them when it's dry on the glass. It just doesn't clean well and never really has.

what kind should I replace them with? how much? where to get them?

this is such a wear item I doubt that acura will give me a coverage on it.

forget the blades, rainx the windshield and see how well the old blades will work on it. it's the best $2 you'll ever spend on your car

I just had mine replaced at no cost for the 4th time. I just say they are streaking and I guessthe dealer uses that old service bulletin. They did the complete fluid and tubing exchange about 2 years ago but it still streaks.

i went to the dealer and Friday, and they would not cover mine either. Saying it is normal wear and tear.

The sun will deteriorate the rubber on the blade, and disform it...

Is it pretty hot where you live?

Doh, I see texas...

I've had the PIAAs on for about 7 months now, and they are leaving swirls all over. I clean it whenever i wash the car, and it still makes lines wherever the blade stops that cannot be removed unless i use the glass cleaner. I went back to the shop and bought it from and he said that there's no warranty on it. I was like wtf.
I don't use them that much, i try to keep my windshield clean all the time, but whenever used they leave swirls. Anyone has a fix for this?

Mine was replaced under warranty for 1st year. So I think your 03 model will be covered.

Get a damp cloth w/ some car wash detergent, and rub the blades, removing dirt and other stuff. See if that works. I had a bad experience with silicone products on wiper blades, instead of it "wiping" water off, it just "smudged" it, the blades were repelling the water onto the glass, off the blades instead of removing/wiping it off the glass.

When I had the dealer do the 7500 check up I noticed the the tech had changed the wiper blades (it was written up on the invoice).

When I asked about it the service manager acted like it was not a big deal. Seemed a little weird to change wipers after only 7500 miles, but it didn't cost any extra, so
