Road Lamp Out

One of my road lamps is burned out.. What should I replace it with?

What is the standard bulb, and what can I replace it with to more closely match the HIDs?

Thanks.

Anyone with directions on how to install these or is it as simple as getting underneath the car and replacing the current bulbs?

and btw, optauto shipping on these light (weight-wise, and no pun intended) is $10 ... ridiculous.

I bought mine from optauto, but because of the shipping, I bought 4 other sets of bulbs too just so it wasn't $20 for 2 bulbs.

install instructions

Not exact but very close.

It's the closest I've found.

Bag it, and unhook them both. I think all they really are there for is looks anyways. Since they aren't fogs or anything by any means.

Mine kept buring out over and over again, so I just unhooked them and just have my headlights.

so you are saying, by replacing the 'foglights' with PIAA/M6, they will just burn out anyways? how long do they last then?

Use Gloves when you put them on and they should last at least a year. Get M6's, the match is perfect.

You're not suppose to touch the bulbs with your bare skin.

Had mine in about 2 years now. Haven't blown out yet.

Unscrew and remove the road lamps from the front to replace the bulbs. No need to get under the car.

I have PIAAs. 2 years and the blue coating is sitting in the housing. But, I drive with my lights are on all the time.

New disposable latex or vinyl gloves. You don't want any oil or dirt on the bulbs.
