I Just experienced the same window problem driving home from work. MY driver side window jerks going down but is smooth going up. The jerking stops when the window is about two thirds of the way down. I'd like to know what you did to fix the problem (if you fixed it that is). I really don't want to take it to the idiot dealer if I dont have to.

Blown is Best
If it's under warranty, they may replace the window regulator if it has too much slack in it. Other than that, you may want to spray the rubber window moldings with silicone spray to lube them.

I haven't fixed it yet. But I will try to clean the window first and maybe apply some wax on it from both sides, then I'll try the silicone spray like Allout suggested. The problem with my car... it has 75k miles = out of warranty, only the tranny until 100k miles nad that's it.

Mine makes this weird squeegee squeaking sound when it goes down (mostly in cold weather)... any suggestions?
Oh, and it's the passenger window, and it doesn't happen all the time.*

i was going to ask you guys about this problem too, except mine happens only when wet, either from rain or washing, once it dries its fine.
i'm off warranty too so i'm putting up with it for now!

for some strange reason my window is less jerky now, but still does it a bit. I am going to follow the "if it isn't broken, don't fix it" rule for now. Would be bad to be stuck with an open window though :o| But my dealership parts is open until 12am so if it's an emergency then I'll just get the part and replace it myself.

i have the same problem. but thats bc the rubber flap that runs up the side of the pillar is pretty lose. i cud peel it all the way back with my pinky finger if i wanted.

its not like the window jerks, it just makes a big squeky noise from rubbing against the loose rubber flap. This is the flap thats on the side of the pillar which leaves a small crevice in between the glass and the rubber when the window is closed.... just trying to be specific.

how about this, my window regulators were replaced twice on drivers side, and once on a passenger side.
Now its better, but still shakes a little bit on the way down.
I have a feeeling it will become bad again, these regulators are not very durable and go bad quickly.

They did two things:
1. Replace window regulator
2. Adjust window run channel (dont know what the hell it means...)
I suggest before you pay for it, you call Acura Customer Care and b*tch, they might work something out. tell them that its unacceptable to have these kinds of problems in a luxarry car.
FYI: one thing to keep in mind, that they will first try a cheap solution: "adjust a run channel & lubricate" this will only work for 1 month, and then you will be back. You need to insist that they replace a window regulator, dont settle for band-aid solution.

I know this thread is ancient at this point but no one gave a proper answer. I was losing my mind trying to figure out why my window was shaking on the way up after I replaced my regulator.
For anyone replacing their window regulator in the future, make sure you push the window against the left (rear) channel before tightening the bolts.
Here’s the factory procedure for “door glass adjustment”:
