Window Visors for the CL-S

I have been looking everywhere for a company that produces window visors for the CL-S. Since the car is so new, there are none currently available. Fortunately, I have been in contact with a local company here in Vancouver Canada that is willing to produce a set for the CL-S. Following is the e-mail that I have just received from them:

Ray Chow,
Marketing Director
Streamline Innovations 2
Vancouver, BC. Canada.
Phone: 604.649.7132
www.SInnovations2.com

Allen,

Thank you for your interest in Streamline Innovation's Slim Visors.

We have not yet designed a pair of visors for your 2001 CL Type, we will eventually design a pair, but before we do that, SI2 will need understand the demand.

We could design a custom pair for your CL Type, it will take around two weeks with you comming by 2 times to do fitings and measurements. It will cost $175 for the custom pair.

But on the other hand if you want to lower the cost of designing, you can try to find 4 other people who have the same interests and vehicle. This will help to lower the cost for you model of Slim Visors, if all 5 of you purchase the visors it will only be $100 each pair.

Hope this helps

Ray

Okay folks, so who's interested??? Ideally, if everybody on this board who is interested sends them an e-mail, I'm sure they will make it a priority to make an inexpensive set for the CL-S/CL-P(but your guess is as good as mine when they will actually produce a set for the CL...ahem...AEM CAI ring any bells?). If only a few CL owners are interested, reply in this thread so we can coordinate and only have to pay $100.00 per set. Worse case scenario, I'm the only person interested and I shell out $175.00

Keep in mind that these slim window visors are attached via double-sided tape...they are not bolted on...I repeat, NOT BOLTED ON. Oh yeah, one last minute detail: Don't freak out at the prices, they are in Canadian Currency(I do live in Canada, and the company is locally based in Vancouver here).

Damn, I forgot about those pesky Canadian taxes...that's an additional 14% on top of the price mentioned above.

What is a window visor? Is it one of those unfolding plastic things that keep the sun out?

Basically, it's a wind deflector placed along the top of the window...made out of the same material as the sunroof wind deflector...works along the same principles. Mainly a cosmetic mod. Go check out the site

I put one on my Montero (RIP) and I hated it. Causes too much wind noise...

You may try this company:
http://www.autoventshade.com/index.html

They are here in the Atlanta area, and are usually very quick-to-market on their products.
