I went to the dealer today and they had these bad ass cromed out TL-S rims. I wanted to put em on the cl that i'm gettin and the guy is like they wont fit. I dont believe him, i want those fuckin rims. Can you guys get back to me on this before i buy the car. Do they have a different offset or bolt pattern????

Same bolt pattern and offset...but the CLS rim is 1/2" wider...I think...

 

They absolutely will fit

CLS 17x7 +55
TLS 17x6.5 +55

They will actually tuck a little nicer under the wheel wells.

It's not their fault. Most of the dealerships everywhere don't know shit about the cars they have. When I bought my car, I had to tell the dealer about it since he had no clue about what a Close-ratio transmission is.

 

What should i tell them if they tell me NO again???

You should try and get the CL-S rims in chrome. They are 1/2 inch wider and take 235/45 tires with no problem!!! If you REALLY like them, get them!!!! They do look pimp!!!

 

Those are the 02 wheels, they dont make those n e more.

Go to the dealer. If he says NO again, take the Chrome TL rim and put it on the CL. Then tell him he's a moron and that you want them for free.

 

When I went to buy my car, the dealer had a set on another CL. I told him I would only buy the car if he put those rims on my car!!! He said no problem!!!!! It cost me and extra $900, but it was WELL WORTH IT!!!!!!! They did the switch for me and put the rear spoiler on and detailed it before I picked it up!!! Most dealers have them in chrome. You just gotta look around!!! I saw some in black market not too long ago too!!!

 

what i'm tryin to say is that i dont think the dealer has the 01-02 cl-s wheels in crome, just the tl ones, they say the tl ones dont fit but now i'm 100% positive that they do, he said $1600 for a set of four, but the wheels on the cl-s i was lookn to buy are all scrathed so they shud just do the swap for me cause were paying in full
