Wierd shifting points
Didn't know whether to post here or in Problems or fixes but...
I've noticed lately at WOT my car will shift at higher RPMs.
from 1st to 2nd it'll shift at 7grand when my fuel cutoff is supposed to kick in at 6250

from 2nd to 3rd she shifts a lil before 6250, and it's the same between all other gears.
Its really wierd that it is shifting at such a high RPM from first to second. I don't hear any belts slipping, nothing. Just need some opinions other than my own.
Here's what I have on my engine so far for those that don't know.
Full exhaust (headers, high flow cat....)
UniChip (dyno tuned)
UR underdrive crank pulley
AEM CAI
Type-S intake manifold (ported) w/IMRC and MSD switch
Outlaw TB and IM spacer
Mugen mods
Buddy Club Radiator cap (same as Mugen cap, just cheaper)
the tranny at normal conditions shifts just fine...i can barely feel it shift, but it's doing it's thing.

You think it could be your tires kicking loose when it shifts into 2nd? Maybe try WOT 1st-2nd with VSA on and see if it lights up at the shift point. Just a suggestion. Also, I noticed mine shifted a bit higher after I put my intake on, but now that she's at the dealership getting her tranny replaced, I just hope this isn't an early warning sign of the tranny going south.

Nice Avatar BTW...

I forgot you guys don't have VSA. Eh, same thing, TCS, what ever does the job. You have plenty enough mods to spin loose going into second. That's the only thing I can think of.
Even with the factory P, it still has the same tranny as the S, I believe. The type S shifts strange sometimes from first to second also. Usually, when on a downshift from second to first, it will upshift to second at about 6500 rpm. This can be an issue as the slightly early upshift momentarily puts you out of VTEC (4400) in second. I have found if you take it from a dead stop however, that it will usually upshift to second at 6900 rpm as it should. This of course puts you in VTEC in second. Maybe the ECU or PCM recognizes a full throttle start and gives maximum shift points? You could be losing traction at the very top of gear, with your mods you never know. Test the TCS theory, also how are your tires?
Either way hopefully everyone knew although redline is 6900 on the S, the rev limiter does not actually kick in until 7200. Those 300 rpms helps out as you can get every last drop of performance from headers, also you can always hit VTEC in 4th gear by doing this. I suspect there are extra rpms to be had for the P as well. What rpms do you rev limit at in 2nd and 3rd gear?
