Why does everybody BS about their mods?

after reading a whole bunch of different posts on this board and others...
why is everybody so gay about telling people their mods? if you have a turbo CL... tell the guy it's a turbo.. if he doesnt know by the BOV he is an idiot, true.. but still..
just curious... i personally would be more proud of a turbo cl than shady

I'm sure in this case Allmotor was just messing around. It wasn't suppose to be taken literally.

If I was out racing for $$, no way in hell i'd tell anyone what I had done. gimme a break. Tell a few people, everyone will know. Then no-one will race you for $$.

you just opened up a can of worms. If allmotor wants to joke, then he can. He is an A-CL pioneer. Guys like him, scalbert and rondog have taken the CL to a new level. If it wasnt for the likes of these guys, we may have never seen a 400+ hp cl, or custom wheels or an intercooler for sc cars. These guys have helped taken other members to new levels and have all personally helped my annoying ass quite a few times. They dont hide what they do. If allmotor had his way, every CL will be turbo'd whether he did the job or not. He is a valued member of this board, and one of the elders. Learn to pich and choose your battles, because this is one you won't win. Most of the older CL/TL'ers will attest to that.
