This car is much nicer than our CL. Who will be the first to get one? Come on, I know a lot of you are considering it.

Dude... the exterior is still VERY suspect ... the CL bodystyle is much like the last generation Legend's bodystyle .. timeless.. Yeah this new one has got new features .. guess what, it's a 2004, why wouldn't it have more features??
Don't know if that qualifies it as "nicer than our CL"

If Acura comes out with a new coupe that has 300 or more ponies, I'll be the first one in line to buy one, but a 4 door with no more power, sporting a TSX body, no thank you. The newer interior isn't enough for me. Besides, my wife drives a four door Volvo, don't need more doors!
I'll keep my 300+hp '01 CLS-navi, thank you very much.

Haven't driven the TL, but judging by some seat time and looking at it......its a nicer car than the CL.
Just seems like a much better executed car, more quality feel overall. Which shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, its a new car.

The new TL is amazing. It looks a lot better in real life. The interior is just awesome. A few new gadget and some really nice touches on the inside with carbon fiber, which doesn't look ricey at all. I like how the car is wider now and shorter in length. It looks musclar now instead of long. If i could afford one I totally would.

Bagged hybrid
Interior is nice especially the gauges...looks like it would be another custom job to do aftermarket stereo. I don't like the rear end at all.
I wonder how long it's going to be before someone complains about squeaks and rattling.

I want one but i just got my CL-S 6speed a few months ago. I test drove it (automatic) and i think it is a great car. Everything about it except for the Acura name on the front bumper is great. I am going to go back and test drive the 6 speed when it comes out.

See, now I get great customer service from Acura--phenomenal actually. I told a good friend who happens to be the local BMW store sales mgr that they could use a lesson or two from Acura (bought a 330xi from them). I for one won't purchase a car (again) in the first model year it's produced. Maybe in a year but kinda doubtful. I'm looking for a 740 or 540 sport next.

I can understand Acura wanting to "pull a BMW" and have all the cars in their lineup with similiar looks, but I don't think the TSX styling translates well to the larger proportions of the TL.
I won't be heading out to the dealer anytime soon for a TL, but if there is a AWD coupe version somewhere down the line, I'll consider it (as long as the exterior styling has changed by then).

I think it's a nice sedan. I also think it looks better than a 5 series. I need some more info on the car. Is it the same trans? Does the reg tl comes with the same brakes/rotors as the CL?
I think it's the best car for that price range.

just stopped in @ local acura dealer to peep the new TL. The show room floor one had 18s, body kit, spolier, wheel locks, and a few other minor things... guess how much it was going for.... 39,995!
fuck that expensive! but the exterior is a lot hotter than I thought it would be. especially with gun metal 18s.
talked to a salesman for a while.. (uhh ohh), he was pretty cool. hes gonna send an invitation to the tl test drive on the 22nd. he said there would be 6 cars to drive, and a few more on the showroom floor. 6 speeds wont get here for another month as everyone already knows.
The interior was off the chain. Can't wait to drive it.

I may consider it in a couple of years if I really feel the need for a 4 door. I like coupes because of the look, and the B pillar not being next to my head. But with kid #2 on the way, it may be 4-door time and this car fits most of my needs and wants. I wish it were a little sportier looking but I like the price/features over most of its competitors. I am also older than most on this board (at 38) and I think this car is aiming at my range more than most on this board.

Outnumbered at home
Like it a lot. And i think with the 6 speed it is going to be way nicer than the 03 tl. I love the new styling and the interior is just amazing. All for just a few hundred over the old type s msrp. Nice. I would totally take it over the a4 (unless i lived in the north), that a4 just does not have the balls for me. Okay power but for 30=K i can get 260-270 from the japs. Nice.
I am trading my cl for it as soon as i save up the cash.
