Whoopee!!! Sway Bars are in!
Don't know why these were not standard from the factory! Car feels much tighter
with no increase in stiffness or NVH. On a twisty road near my house the car feels transformed! A pavement change in the middle of a uphill corner used to upset the balance badly by giving the car a shove causing it to lean even more. Now when you hit the bump mid corner the car stays flat and the stock shocks and springs are able to absorb the energy without upsetting the car. Probably the best description I can give of adding the sway bars only, is that when tossing it into a corner the car feels like it is 500 lb. lighter. I think for my tastes the addition of shocks and springs at this point would defeat the reason I purchased this car in the first place. If I had wanted a car that handled that well, I would have bought the Audi TT I was looking at.

I want to do some more mods also, but SPRINGS that lower the car are out of the question because of my winter driving needs.
I like your posted experience with the sways.
It seems like something I might want to look into.

Bars were $299.00 + $21.00 shipping with no sales tax from Autocarpars.com and I was lazy and had the dealer put them on for $134.00. Autocarparts.com is $30.95 cheaper than getting bars direct from Comptech.

The headers are obvious, but changing the
suspension and getting it right seems to be a
bit trickier.I like the idea of starting with the sways and then considering the springs and shocks, not to mention tires that
can handle it all.

I had them on my previous car(97 SHO)and i
loved them,they made a huge difference.One
thing with the SHO is i stayed with the stock set up.I see you went 235/45,any serious changes in ride quality or problems
you've noticed.

Looks like the sways do exactly what I am looking for, level out the turns but keep the same ride.
I was also thinking of the comptech springs, but are there any worries with bottoming out on large potholes, or wearing down the tires faster due to the camber?
Someone else put in just the springs, but it didn't do anything for the sway.
I am always going to keep the stock rims. When these tires wear, i may switch to Dunlops.
Please post in about a week after everything settles in for an update!

Athena,
I have the sways and springs on my CL-S. The combination has made the car a luxo-canyon carver The handling is a delight. There's no bottoming out over deep potholes or dips in the road. My alignment was within specs after I had it install.
Get both. You won't be sorry. I promise.

EricL,
..... Yes, I would say it's firmer, but not back breaking or bone jarring firm. More like a BMW 5 series firmness IMO. The bumps/pot holes are still soaked up by the stock tires well.

Have you ever drove a late 90's Integra?
Would you say a CLs with the springs & sways are comparabe to the Integra ride, or just a bit softer??
I used to have a 96 teg, it was very tight in the turns, and a bit stiff on the road. Felt every little bump.
