Whooped a CL Type S.....

I love Acuras, but this guy just didn't know his place. Took him out from the start all the way up to 100mph this weekend. He was about 4 car lengths behind me at 100mph after the toll plaza on 355 South.

Then after I slowed down to my preset speed limit of 80mph, he pulls a 'ricer' and flys by me at like 120!

Anyone on this board own a black CLS who raced a yellow M3?

Ken,

Nice roast -- did it look like it had any mods .. I wonder if it had the headers, intake, etc. .. and 4 car lengths to 100 mph ain't TOO bad considering it went up against an M3.

Hey Acura Crazy, if you want to install your springs at an Acura Dealership, prepare to get raped. But wait til next week, there is a top secret acura dealership that matches prices (thats what they told me), so if they match Park Ave's prices, I'll post it here for sure....but they guy already gave me a good quote on Header install ($225), I'm bringing my Park Ave Acura printout to get the sways installed for $75. I'll cross my fingers and let you know what happens..I'm going next week.

No, didn't get a chance to go.

This past sunday I went to Joliet for a auto-x for the audi club but they didnt' let me race my car since I was 1/2 hour late.

If I still have my car next month, I plan on taking it to Gingerman raceway in MI for the open practice on their 1.9 mile track. Need new brake pads for that one...
