whoa Canada

So I just got back from a business trip to my company'sToronto office in canada and I have some observations and questions for our friends up North.

1. what is an Acura 1.7 EL? sort of looks like an old Accord.
2. Why is the Jeep Wrangler called by its internal Chrysler name of TJ.
3.why did I see a TSX with white/ebony when we American's don't have that color choice?

and on another note, why is there a Tim Hortons on every corner?

Well how did ya like toronto..... Hope you enjoyed ur stay...

the answer to your questions are...

1) Basically its a Honda Civic with a Acura Badge on it... Same components, but you get a touch of luxory in it.
2) Chrysler puts more of its name on the cars here, chrysler neons, etc.
3) Different colors are offered here with different packages.. For example we cant get NAV and a six speed version here on the CLS or the new TLs... So that kinda sucks...

Hope that helps

I don't know about the 'hot women' part ... there are a lot of 'easy women' ...

Hey SanMarinoTypeS -- if you like Keith's now (Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale) ... you should have tried it when it was bottled from the Maritimes ... it was SO MUCH BETTER before. Now it's kinda missing something ...

Off topic ... going back ... Timmy's is a very overrated donut shop. But if you have C$400,000 ... you can buy a franchise and it's essentially a money press. People here LOVE the coffee/donuts. Why are Canadians so fat? It's not only the poutine (fries covered with cheese + gravy) that making us heavy ...

One thing about the EL -- it's a Civic with leather seats! Nice car but I would step up to the TSX. And the thing about Canada-spec cars ... they have EBP 2nd gen TL but the US gets ABP 2nd gens ... (sigh)

I thought I'd through in some slight clarification

Yeah, the EL is basically a fancy Civic but it only comes as a 4 door. And it has the Si (EX) engine, not the base.

Thumbs up Acura Club Meet - July 1 - 2005

I hope some of you can make it to our meet on Canada Day at 11am.

Lansdowne Park Mall Richmond - NE corner parking July 1 - 11am

It'll be nice to touch base with other TL, CL, RL and TSX owners and see their cars. I am a 3g owner.

There's a discussion of this in the meets section.

I honestly don't know what you are talking about.... I don't see many at all, if I do they're most likely European. You should go to St. Petersburg in Russia. Many many nice girls/women just walking around everywhere. All of them besides being absolutely hot are also educated, friendly, interested to get to know you, no flabby stomachs hanging over tight jeans and they can actually dress nicely and tastefully. Unlike the majority of Canadian girls.

1. Entry level Acura (Civic SI sedan with leather interior)
2. Marketing purposes
3. Couldn't tell you, but it's known as Premium White Pearl

We love our coffee. We use to have Dunkin Donuts but I don't think they could compete with Tim's. I think there may be a few left in the Montreal area.
