Who was racing S4 on Highland over 100MPH in Hollywood, CA?
Dudes, who was it? I saw red CL-S with custome gril was racing Silver S4 at 9PM Friday from the light on Highland in Hollywoods, CA (near the BOWL) they did like over 100MPH and I heard huge noise, CL-S beat S4, and please don't tell me that S4 wasn't racing it was loud as fuck. They went like 3 blocks, and then stopped and talked about something. S4 had better start, but then CL-S cought him and went over like ¼ cars ahead I thought S4 is faster then Cl-S Can CL beat S4? Dude who raced please respond. You are the man!!!!!!!

It was me. I don't have any mods. I am stock. It was a nice race. Driver at S4 was like 26 years old. He start racing. As soon as I passed him, he stoped and I asked him was it S4 he said yes. I said I am sorry, but I am not impressed. S4 is one of my favorite cars but not any more. Drivers said I wasn't trying. The took all the power that he possibly could from this S4. I heard it. The only one think it had awsome brakes. S4 can fuckin brake. CL_S brakes are sheat. But I loved the performance that I got out of CL. I am sure with good mods on Cl you can chalenge S4 manual. It was automatic.
Thanks.
Thanks.

S4 Tip would be just about even with the CL-S. Timeslips for the S4 Tip show a best of 14.6's and the average 14.7. S4 tip at Pomona last year ran 14.8 in 90 degree heat 1100' altitude, pump gas. It would be entirely up to the drivers in the 2 cars. Also 0-60 time for S4 tip is ~ 6.3-6.5. S4 Tip is a heavy car and weighs in at ~3650lbs.
Manual S4 is another story. Best slips show 13.9's but the average timeslip is 14.1-14.3. Depends on the drivers launch. I ahve even seen mid to hogh 14's and a couple of 15's!!
Be careful, alot of people chip those things and for $595 you get an additional 65HP and ~90-100lbs torque. Friend of mine ran at Carlsbad last February S4 Tiptronic 13.87. Chip only manuals are running 13.4-13.6's. Just some info.
Again , the CL-S runs even with the Tip. Driver decides the outcome its so close.
