im in the market for a new car or truck in the next few weeks. i have searched google high and low for some info on what cars and trucks offer navigation. I know some new car makers came out with navigation such as toyota, etc.... does anybody know what cars and trucks navigation is offered on? any info would be GREATLY appreciated. TIA

 

Infiniti G35 Coupe and Sedan

 

You can buy aftermarket units that are as good or better than the acura setups, CLS (old technology) or TSX (new tech) Check here: www.abtelectronics.com Be careful whose system you buy. All the BMW guys say their navis suck big time.

 

If you are looking for a truck Dodge has a navigation unit available for all of their vehicles. It is an accessory that replaces the factory headunit. Look up RB1. It looks like an excellent upgrade to me. It can go into many of the chrysler/jeep/dodge vehicles.

Ford currently only offers the Eddie Bauer Expedition and the Navigator with available navigation.

Mazda has none.

Infinity G35 and 350Z. Nissan Murano/F35-45

All lexus models.

Toyota Matrix/Pontiac Vibe

Honda Pilot / Acura MDX/TSX/CL/TL/RL

BMW all models

Mercedes ? I assume all models

I am sure I missed a couple, but these are the ones that quickly come to mind.

 

All the Infinitis offer NAV G's, M's, Q's, and FX's
Lincoln offers NAV
Cadillac offers NAV

 

Subaru does not.

 

I have a Garmin Street Pilot III for $700 bucks. Does all the ame stuff but does not have the bird's eye view. Works great though.
