Mine is due to be installed tomorrow morning. I was qutoed an estimate between $90 and $120 for the installation.

How much you paid for the installtion?
Initial Impression?

I don't think anyone has the fully installed kit with all 3 pullies. They only started to ship the alternator pully a few days ago.

Nashua, I'm amazed you don't have headers yet...you have pretty much everything that you can possibly to do to go faster, but missing the main mod.

I have sept 6 scheduled to get them installed at PAA. They are charging 3 hours of labor ($240). A bit expensive but at least I know they are being installed correctly. I requested Jens install them for me.

he he he... You are right... There 2 reasons:

1) I was holding for the Prototype Racing headers. It may offer better mid range performance at lower or qual cost.
2) I paid:
- $200 for a CAI
- $320 + $120 for URPulleys
- $50 for Plugs.
Still less than the cost of the headers.

1. I recall the dyno was released for the Prototype already and the gains were not as impressive and cost about the same as the Comptechs.

2. $200 + $320 + $120 + $50 = $690 = 14.6 (1/4 mile) or
$999 = Priceless look as you smoke peeps or
$200 + $320 + $120 + $50 + $690 + $999 = One broke mofo for a long time!

peiqinglong,

I computed from the UR dyno that the UR headers would outperform the Comptech by an average of 4 HP at each 100rpm between 4200 rpm and 6400 rpm. (a mere 2.5%).

well I was quoted $200 bucks to do it, and they installed the acc pulley and they could'nt get the crank pulley in, mofos (after droping the car there 3 times ) and I ended up paying $100 for just the acc pulley . I just picked up the car with just the acc pulley. after cussing them out and shit . I'll find another place.

anyways, it should NOT cost more than $200 max.

I just came for the installation of the UR pulleys. Total installation cost was $104.5!!! Installtion time is 1:45 min. Out of the door in 2hrs only

Look for a complete installation review, shop review, and initial impression
