Quick question for everyone...I have these white specs on my hood (easy to see with black paint), look like little tiny dots of dried wax but definately not paint chips. Anyone have this problem, solved this problem, know what this is? Thanks.

 

Could be sap from a tree overhead. Also dried soap from your windshield wipers....

A good clay bar should take care of that in a jiffy.

 

Try using bug and tar remover.........or a highspeed buffer might do the trick.
