Where To Recycle Used Oil/filters/batteries

Thought I contribute for once. Don't know if already posted but this is for all you DIY folks who love to work on your own ride but don't know where to dump your used stuff.

Go to:

http://www.earth911.org/

punch in your zip code and select a recycling category and it will lists all participating recycling service centres where you can dump your used oil, batteries, cell phones, computer, etc.

I changed my car oil and didn't know where in my neighborhood to dispose of it properly, so this site was a gem.

Thanks for the info. I have collected used oil (mower and snowblower) for years and I just noticed (on the site) my town recycle center collects it. Hmmm, i never saw anything suggesting they do. I'll have to give them a call.:bigclap:

On Monday mornings, we usually find them in the alley behind our shop.
