Where to mount a Basslink

I just installed a Basslink in the trunk (2001 CL-S). It sits on the left side of the pass through up against the seat if you are looking into the trunk from the outside. Basically the front left corner of the trunk.

What's the best way to mount it so it doesn't move? Should I screw into the body below?

Thanks for the help in advance.

I got it from eBay for $260 shipped. That's like 6 months ago. Now you can get it around $210 shipped.

Huge difference. I only turn on like 1/3 volume, my rearview mirror starts rattle.

It takes about an hour to install. Pretty easy.

I have mine in the same place. What did you screw the footings into? The particle board or the actual body of the car? How did you secure it to the floor?

No, no, no bungee cord the basslink......it holds it in place better.....sounds better because its tighter in the corner. I'll post pics later if ur interested. Also if you take ur car to the drags all u have to do is take the fuse out from the front by the battery and unbungee the basslink and disconnect takes all but 1 minute.

not sure how mine is fastened... I had it installed :o

I think it's just attached to the board, not the actual frame.

I still have the Bose..

They are OK, but the basslink adds a nice little thump to the stock setup

Installed the Basslink. Sounds great. Thanks for the help. I also found a black bungee cord at Target. That is how I mounted it in the trunk. I mounted the bass control remote in the blank spot next to the dimmer for the dash lights. Worked out great.

Why did you install it upside down to make room for the ski compartment? Looks good but is the bungee adjustable or a specific size. My bungee is adjustable so I can make it smaller if I want to tighten it more. Looks like it's snug.....good job but I would prefer if the "INFINITY" is right side up?

There are 2 bungee cords. One on the top and one on the bottom. Both are adjustable. I put it in upside down to keep the wire connections away from the pass trough. I know the Infinity is upside down but I never look in the trunk that much.
