Where for $150?!?!?! that price beats the crap out of $300+ down here in OC. I'll do it for 150! Let's go get a group installation done...maybe they'll give you discount

There is a shop in Pasadena called GT Group, they've been in the business for years and this will be a sinch for them. Their # is 626 584 5860

Alot of members on this board use this shop. Ask for Will and tell him Scottie sent you.

Header Install

I installed AkuraCLS's OBX Headers and my own Comptech Headers... so if you want, I can do it for you.

I am sure Eddie down at Dynamic won't do it for $100 anymore

PM me if you want. I am in Woodland Hills. Also PM AkuraCLS if you want to hear his view on the install etc.

I agree with ghander, GT Group in Pasadena is the spot, I have used it in the past, as far as Diamond Bar goes, nothing...

BTW, I always ask the question and never get a reply, we sure do have alot of folks in the Diamond Bar Chino Hills area on this forum, where are you all located?

I see more CLs in my areas than anywhere else in LA??????
But noone ever answers me when I put it out on the forum, thats okay, you guys wanna be stelth, I understand.

I will reccomend SP ENGINEERING....I trust them with my life....they have done many jobs on my old car (accordv6) plus springs and coils for the CLS....they are very good with their work. SP is KNOWN in the San gabriel valley for their quality installations....check out their site www.sp-power.com . Go and ask for a guy named IVAN

Also, they have made it into Turbo Mag and others several times, noted for their engine work....The price may be a lil higher than at an average shop, BUT, u pay for what u get...

its not even that far from u....U get off at HACIENDA from the 60 fwy going WEST...im sure u know where that is

I just had my OBX Headers installed at GT Group Performance Racing that you guys recommended. It was only suppose to take about 1:30 hrs...but ended up taking 3 hrs. FU$KING OXB made the holes too small and they had to bore out the holes...and then the pipe was in contact with the front engine mount...they had to remove that and start to find ways around it. They did a good job. Quoted my $120 over the phone...but due to the extra time because OBX fu&ked up, they asked for $150...which i think is pretty fair. I was come do my mods there again...the only problem is that it's 45 Miles away and takes about 1 hour to get there.

I hope only they did not switch the front and rear headers...

Where is the OBX logo? on the front or the rear?

Yeah, i told them before they started that OBX stamped header piece goes in the rear. Told them it was unusual...but it was confirmed by other that it was. When they installed it they tried both ways, and they ended up putting the stamped on in the rear.

Other people had the same problem with the holes being too small...pre-production model? Or they found out that they f$cked up and sold them for cheaper?
