Are you talking about the HELM manual? Or the "owners" manual?

If it is the HELM, you will have to pony up $$$ for it. (Unless you know some "secret".)

  • Toyo 235/45ZR17-97W* T1S Proxies on Stock 17" CLS wheels

It's only like 62 dollars at:
http://www.helm.com

It's a great book and I wouldn't call that a lot of $$$.

I only paid about $30 for my Maxima books *and* $25 for some American Car OEM manuals. You forgot the tax and shipping -- I got nicked for about $100!

Well, there is something funny going on....

I got nicked for about $100 by phone, now I see that the price is cheaper when ordering via the web site (either that or someone overcharged me)...

Oh well...

It was an out of state order for me so there were no taxes and I think shipping was only a few dollars.

Still a deal if it save you one trip to the service dept for something easy to DIY.

The Helm publications are some of the best deals in terms of factory service manuals. It was an absolute godsend when I had my Integra.

In contrast, my IS300 service manuals (two volume set, not including the separate automatic transmission service manual) costed $228.90(!!!), not including tax or shipping. It's a little better in terms of diagnostics, but absolutely not $170 dollars better. This is one area that makes even me want to grab Lexus corporate by their collective collars and scream, "stop screwing us over!!!"

I have some of the more popular ones scanned and posted in my Photopoint album.

Check out this post in the FAQ area.

Oh, boy. This isn't Napster!

There is a copyright on that thing. I don't think anyone will get in a pinch over a few copied pages, but anyone who wants to copy the whole book and put it on a web site, better have a good lawyer (and a lot of free time).

Hmmm.... Let me see, "Can someone scan 'War and Peace' for me and put it up soon.

I'm sure Soopa will dig it too...

(my $0.02)

I may have got bashed for $100.00 for it, but I think it is worth the money (at least after looking over it for a while).

I will never understand why newbies bring back old threads and participate like the discussion is still going on.

Honestly Pavdog, did you really expect the people involved w/ this thread have been sitting on their comp. for years waiting for somebody to reply????

EDIT: I forgot my " "

It's mostly caused by the fact that the search function only displays posts from around 2001. You can't search for recent posts.
