I'm thinking about getting Comptech Sway Bars installed. I live in L.A. and I'm wondering where I can get them installed. Any suggestions? Do you guys know of any shops that carry comptech sway bars?

 

The first thing I would suggest is to order your parts through www.autocarparts.com. Good pricing and supposedly very reliable. Many many members have ordered their parts through Tim's site (including myself now).

Then see if anyone in your area with a CL/TL knows of a tech who works at one of the dealers who would install the stuff for you on the side. That's the safest way to go, I would think.

 

Maybe you could check for "non-dealer" Acura repair shops ... one near us in San Rafael does great work ... installing the sways is NOT difficult so you shouldn't pay a lot and you should be able to find someone to install them for you at a reasonable price.

There is a Discount Tire Warehouse (I hope that is the correct name) in Los Angeles. Tim, from autocarparts.com, pointed to me to a thread in the acura-tl.com forum that has a member point me to this guy.
