Where can I get the 3.5 s/c shaft pulley?

I believe Scalbert got his pulley for his IC kit from South Florida Pulley but does anyone know if it was something that was just bought off their website or was it custom made?

Is it one of these:

you'd be much better off throwing a 50 dry infront of the blower and probablly netting between 75-100 hp to the wheels

The shaft pulley has to be 3.3" if you are running cl hbp, this will produce the max boost.

Comptech does not offer a smaller shaft pulley for the CL/TL kit

I'm sure pulleyboys would be able to make one but they do not sell one off the shelf.

Scalbert had tried 2 S/C shaft pulley. One was 3.5 and the other was 3.3.

Will either of those pulleys increase boost?I was thinking about trying to run alittle more boost then the HBP but i didn't know where to start looking, Will the blower be able to handle it?

The blower will only produce 10.5 psi max. For the max boost it is 3.3 " alt pulley and 3.3" shaft pulley.

J30A1 (accords 3.0L) has shows higher boost (10+psi) as oppose to J32A2 which can only show 8.5psi w/ max pulley. but the concept are the same because we have bigger displacement (3.2L)...

So if i get the 3.3 shaft pulley i will be at 8.5psi? How much psi is the comtech Hbp supposed to be? Sorry i am a little stupid when it comes to this stuff.

If you do the max boost pulley then you have to have intercooler or water injection. Otherwise it isnt safe. You should be reading 5 psi now.

The high boost pulley is only 5psi? i thought it was more. I also have the snowperformance water/methanol injection kit, and s2000 injectors (which aren't in yet). So i should get the 3.3 shaft pulley? Should i also install the new injectors when i get the pulley or will the stocks be ok?

Are you running E-Manage?

Guys... it's simple... it's been talked about before.

If you step up beyond the Comptech high boost pulley (5-6psi) you are going to need a combination or at least a few of the following:

1) ECU management to control injector pulse width and timing retard
2) Larger injectors
3) Water/Methanol injection
4) Intercooler

You can't you #2 without #1.

You can use #1, #3, and/or #4 independantly, however a combination of #1 with any of the options is your best bet.

I would imagine that with 8.5psi of boost you would be safe with #1, #2, and #3. Remember, the IAT increases dramatically with this blower; especially with it spinning that fast.

If I was looking for more power I'd go E-Manage, S2K injectors, and a small nitrous shot before the blower. The nitrous is going to work two ways... adding oxygen the mix and cooling the charge air and thus cooling the IAT which will reduce the amount of timing retard. All that means more power.
