I'm going in for my first oil change and I need 5 quarts of Mobil One. Wheres the cheapest I can get it at and what is a fair price for one quart? Thanks guys....

 

Some people have reported K-Mart at under $4.00 a quart. I normally wind up at Checkers or other car place for about $4.50 a quart.

I get my Mobil 1 at Walmart or Kragen. I think Kragen will match Walmart's price too. Don't they claim to have the lowest prices?

I think I paid $27 for 6 quarts last time.

 

SAMs (Walmart club warehouse) 6 qts $20 I still use AMSOIL $4.20 Qt. Use a STP filter $ 2.88 they are exactly the same as Mobil1 $9.99. check out, note they are made at the same manufacture. I donated the amsoil filter for the below teardown.

I still use a AMSOIL filter because I go 10k miles between changes. My oil analysis chart (AMSOIL) said to go to 20k before changing oil but needed to change the filter. Not; I changed both. Synthetic is really good stuff it's just going to take me awhile to believe I don't have to change my oil every 3-4k miles.
