maybe i'm crazy, but when i pull my door closed these days, i look at the handle, and like the handle, the marble wood, and the leather insert sortof separate from the rest of the door...anyone else really notice this???

I have. I don't think mine is as bad as you describe though. When I pull my door shut, the door panel kinda pulls a little.

It's that scrutinous eye for detail that Acura provided on all the bolted on parts. Did I ever mention my trunk, passenger door and drivers door are all out of alignment? Oh well, I'll let the next owner deal with he hehhhehhehhe.

And yes, my door does feel like I'm going to rip off the handle. It gives and I HATE THAT. don't know why I hate it soo much.

my last Accord was like this, after it was like 5 years old though.
You can try to have the dealer give you new door panels

I had the same problem. The portion of the panel that secures to the structure of the door broke. Eventually, the wood of my door panel cracked and no dealer in my area would fix it. They said it broke due to negligence. I'd get it fixed ASAP.

Mine does too, really bad. The dealer will fix it Monday. They've just got the part.

yup...

mine seemed a little loose before...

asked the dealership to tighten the panel and they did so

i don't think acura make it to be a very tight fight....more on the flimsy side

My 2003 has that problem with the passenger panel. I'm guessing the screw let loose that holds the panel to the door. It's booked in next monday to get that cleared up.

Mine too. It *feels* like I'm going to separate the panel from the door frame but it never comes close to doing that.
