When to do timing belt on our 2nd Gen CL type S ??
I am hitting 90k miles now and running on original belt. I was wondering when do I need to change?
I heard about 120k miles, is it true?

Your owners manual or acura owners link website will have the details...
It's 105K miles or 7 years for the timing belt:

I'm in the same position on our 1999 TL-P. Eventhough the recommended interval is 105K, I'll definitely do before I hit 100K to take advantage of the extended warranty we have on the car. I know that the timing belt is not covered but if they come across any other items that need to be replaced, they'll cover under warranty. For example, if the water pump shows any signs of leakage, it'll be covered under warranty. If not, I'll still have them swap it out under my dime. Same for Cam Seals, Crank Seals, tensioner, etc.

yeah, I have a buddy who has his own garage. He is not a top of the line mechanic, but he is honest and does a good jobs if he says he can do something. One time I had a problem and he told me straight up that he does not feel comfortable fixing that . Its better to be honest then to agree to something and then fuk things up.
I would imagine that changing timing belt on 3.2 CLS is a standard procedure that is very similar to Honda Accord?

yeah they are about the same, make sure he takes a look at everything while he is there like the tensioner, all the seals and all that its easier to change them at that point then having to tear it down after the fact.
