Hey,

Within the last 3 weeks I had noticed that my car was making a humming sound. It started to get louder after a few days and now it is a considerably loud humming I hear. I took it to a local shop and they said that I need to replace both front wheel bearings. It has been consistant noise for the past 2 weeks now and I need to take a 150 mile trip. Does anyone know how serious of an issue wheel bearings are? Would you suggest not to drive it for that length of time?

 

150 miles? no problem. I had just been driving 100 miles a day for two months before it unbearable. Good luck!
