Acura Cust. Relations confused the crap out of me... by confirming they had a few typos, a few misprints, and a few manual mods and eventually changed to 95mph MAX in the 3rd for all CL and CL-S until production end. Would you guys please confirm your 3rd speed spec for your respective model/year?

Mine '01 CL-S, AutoSS, 3rd is spec'd at 103; '01 CL = 93.

i know it goes to 105.

most people say an auto can get up around 110 in 3rd.

Pardon... I meant what is actually printed in the '00 - '03 CL/S Manuals ....
It is ALWAYS a dilemma to see exactly what the speedo is at, if in the city, to be honest.. I am just enjoying the vtec 'melody'... and the rush itself ...

If Acura is reading this.... why don't you guys .pdf your manuals as other consumer companies do - be the 1st Auto OEM to do this [I believe...]. Else, since so many diff. versions for the same auto.. it's like some kind of a damn conspiracy....

In my 99 TL 4 speed third gear would top out at 115 MPH.

I dunno how accurate the spedo is at 100+ speeds though.

I choose to "quit racing" at 112MPH -- don't wanna blow the competition away with our awesome 4th gear.
