What's Wrong with my Car?
Earlier this week, I took my car on a long trip (~400 miles) and the car was running just fine. Tuesday, the day after I got back, I noticed that when I stopped the car and it dipped forward, I heard a weird creaking sound from the front of the car. Now, the sound has gotten more pronounced, and I can hear it all the time while driving as my car goes over dips and bumps.
So I had a friend of mine move my car as I stood outside and listened, and can very clearly hear a creaking sound whenever the passenger's side front wheel is under pressure, which leads me to believe that it has to be something to do with the shock or spring at this corner. Does anyone have any idea what this might be, or how much $$$ it's gonna be to fix? I'm a poor ass student
And just in case it's relevant, that particular tire is very worn, and is being replaced later this week. I don't really see how, but any chance that the fact that this tire is shot is causing this noise? TIA

My car did the EXACT same thing. After I replaced the springs with H&R's, it went away. Not sure what it could have been but it's very likely it could be the bushings. I had everything apart when I did the springs so maybe it was just someting that needed a slight adjustment. By the time the new springs were installed everything had been tightend to spec and it hasn't made a peep since.
