I'm still trying to figure out the offset of my rims. There are so many numbers stamped on the rim I don't know what's what... but I think that I have a 45 offset... which has been good, even lowered.

I have the same rims as kHmER Co, and mine is only lower about 1.5" in the rear, and it rubs like crazy when I have people in the back. I think it also comes down to what kind of tire you have.

18x7.5 40mm offset with Eibach Pro-Kit(1.8 Front/1.5 Rear) no rubbing issues at all eventhough I have a system in my trunk. I've only rubbed twice & that was over the same railroad track....which hasn't been repaved in years. Even when I would drive over it stock I felt like the car was going to fall apart. Now I just roll over it at around 25mph and have no problems

check sig for set-up, wheels are a +37 offset and look sweet cause the wheels are flush with the side of the car (not tucked in the fender). it gives it an aggressive look. i have only had the car rub when one of my fat-ass friends was in the back

With 18x7.5 the lowest offset you should go is +42. Don't just worry about if it rubs but makesure the calipers clear as well. Good luck!

oh yeah, and the wheels are 18x8. and i just want to add that ive never had any problems with that offset. the rubbing was only due to excessive weight in the back and would happen no matter what

Matt,

Would a 235/40-18 fit on those rims? That size keeps your speedo error to almost nothing. Its a little more accurate than your size.

Thanks ALL: So the 42offset 18x7.5 with 225/40/18 tires should be ok right?

my car is lowered 2.2 front and 2.0 rear using NEUSPEED AV6 springs.

GOT PSI - any 18 inch wheel SHOULD clear the stock calipers right?
