What's The Highest Speed You've Reached On Your CL?
What is the highest speed you've reached on your CL. I was traveling to Naples, FL when I hit 135 on an empty road early in the morning. (Then I chickened out)

Ahhhhhhhhh..., It sounds like State Farm Insurance down here. They double everyone's insurance and didn't care what speed you did.

i have hit 142 and kept it for about 10 seconds
i dont know if i will ever do that again unless its a super straight road with no chance of cops and no chance of my tire blowing out.
i mean think about....
once you are past 120 if you get pulled over you will surely be arrested and a worse case scenario is having a tire blow out. now that would just suck donkey balls

I got 145 in my CL. I was like , but then i started looking at how fast the lane lines were going by (they looked like a solid line) and then I saw how fast I was passing cars, and I remembered the videos I saw of accidents in the driving school I went to for my last speeding ticket, and next thing i know my hands started twitching and my leg started shaking and I was nervous as hell....not good when traveling that fast....I slowed down and got off the interstate and i haven't gone past 100 mph since.

130 catching up to some friends doing about 110. I caught them, then just decided to keep going, got to about 130 but then the highway shrunk to 2 lanes and there were too many cars around to continue.

Oh yea, 145-147 B-Line. And at 130+ the car just plants itself and it feels like u are riding on rails.

As for top speed I’ve done 120, but our cars just don’t feel safe over 100-110.
Way too much play in the steering even with my upgraded suspension.
The car just seems to “float” and requires numerous corrections every few seconds.
Either that or it’s just the lousy PA roads.

fastest so far in the CL-S is 110-115mph then I had to slow down cause I saw a set of piggys on the side of the road. I even scretched my tires cause I slowed so fast. By the time I passed them I was probably going 80mph. I guess I was lucky they weren't tagging anybody.
The fastest I've ever gone was in my 1995 Integra -> 135mph on the PA turnpike, downhill, trying to catch my friend in a CBR600 F3
He told me he hit 155mph
Let me tell you how scary it is to do that speed on a car that weighs nearly nothing. I swore my car was floating.

130 in moms dts, 120 in the cl-s, 120 in dads es 300,
130 in the dts when i raced a 5.0 stang from a 70 roll, i beat him
but whats crazy is that when i went to court for my 93 in a 65 this one guy in the court w/ me was doin 128 on his bike on the same freeway and he got a blockade(no points), its good to have a clean record.

142 for about a minute on I-70 in Utah - miles and miles of visibility, no curves, no cars, no exits, no one to see what would have happened if there was a rock in the road. Common sense and the realities of east coast driving have since set in, so no more of that...
