whats a good price for a 2002 or 2003 TL?
my parents are looking for a new ride,
whats a good price for it?? a salesman qouted me 330 over invoice if i get it b4 the end of the month but that has passed already i also got a qoute of 27,499 but its like 4 hrs away from me.
should i worry about having transmission problems with this car??? thats the only thing thats holding me back in getting the car.

u didnt say whether that $27.5 was for the '02 or '03. If its for the '03 THaN its a good price.
And also, dont buy into that "under/over invoice price"... no one REALLY knows what the INVOICE price is except the owner of the dealership. Some measly salesman's not gonna know how much the dealer's getting it for. And the dealers would be crazy to sell it for just 300 bucks over the price they paid for the car - cos they gotta pay the salesman and make a good size profit. And i seriously doubt they only make $200/per car.
And fuk that "u can only get this price if u buy it before [this date]" (which is never more then a week away) cos they wanna rush u into a deal making u think u'll miss out if u dont act quick! So tell him to stick his thumb up his ass and search around. If he can offer u that deal right now then he surely can do the same in next 2-3 weeks.... cos the economy doesnt change tht fast unless bin-laden pulls another prank out of HIS ass.

I always go to a few dealer and get their "best price" before i decide. I stay and talk them down until I get the lowest they say they'll go to, I tell them if the price is good, i'll take one right now, etc. Then when they get to their lowest, I get up and go ok thanks. 95% of the time, they'll stop me and lower it more. Otherwise, they'll call you back next day and ask u to go back in and they have a better deal for u. They may not lower the price cause the price is really the lowest they can/want to sell it, but they'll be more than happy to give u other stuff, free oil change, free car wash, free maintence, etc etc.
I emailed dealers for prices buts its funny cause it can only so far as far as negociating on emails where they stop emailing you...lol, well i do have a emailing stating a TL a 2003, w/out navi or any other options for 27,499. Atleat i can use that as my weapon in getting other dealers to lower that price.
