I think that you guys are looking at the SC'd version....the normal 230 is a slug...16s if it's lucky...that thing weighs a lot!!!

Just for some info,if it hasn't already been figured out, all of the SLK230 are Super Charged. That is the only way they come!!! unless you get a SLK320!!!

You may want to worry about an AMG E55 or C43. all the other MB are porkers. Remember these are upscale luxury cars and they are made for cruising at high speed. Just be confident in your CL and stick it in SS and kick butt once or twice.

Actually, other Benz's will give a stock CL-S a hard time- current models, S500, S600, CL500/600/55, SLK32, CLK55, C32, CLK430 (roughly the same times), along with the E55.
But then again, not too many of these cars drivers go nutso in street racing.

I just did find out that all SLK230's are supercharged. It's funny how much there 0-60 times vary depending on the magazine, they even got one mag. stating that it did 0-60 in 8.1sec. I'm not being a magazine racer, I'm just doing some research. We will just see how fast these cars are this weekend...knowing that I'm definitely a better driver than he is, I think I should be able to take him.
