Is the difference in the lenght? Im talking about the Comptech B pipe upgrade. Any details on what would have to be changed would be great..thanks

 

the tl-s pipes are longer than the cl-s by 2" or so.

 

As far as I can remember, the bends are relatively the same, so you would just need to take it to a muffler shop to saw off a few inches and have them re-weld the flange.

 

but I think it would bolt directly to the cl-p, right?

 

I just did this last weekend. Bought a used TLS b pipe from PiMpiN wHITe Cl-S, thanks.
First trial fit, no mods. The tls flange that connects to the cat doesn't match the CLP cat. Clp bolt pattern is slightly smaller by less than 1/8". 5 minutes with a dremel took care of it.

2nd trial fit. I could bolt up the front, bolt on the muffflers and hang the muffflers on the rubber hangers by stretching them but the bend after the resonator was too far back and was hitting the heat sheild. I cut a 1" section out of the front pipe about 6 inches behind the front flange and welded it back toghther.

3rd trial fit. Perfect. I then painted the stock muffflers, polished the b pipe, and went to autozone for some gaskets.
