OEM...In my opinion is the best for the buck!!I've seen many battery's last 4,5,6 years w/ no problems. Also die hard makes a good battery. Stay away from Quaker state...seen one too many blow up. Also if u want a great battery for more cash go w/ the Optima yellow top.

Optima, runs about $90 at costco and lasts for 5 or more years on normal use.

Optima Yellow Top is...

probably the best battery PERIOD.

BUT...is far from being the best battery in regards to VALUE.

I'd have to agree with Ant7701 on this one.

In terms of the Optima batteries you have to determine red or yellow depending on your usage of the battery. Yellow tops are deep cycle batteries that are for cars that generally have a larger stereo or more of a load on the electrical system. The car does not have to be started often to maintain battery charge since Yellow tops can stand a while. Red tops are more for daily drivers who just want a better performing battery than stock.

Or....park the car for long periods of time with an aftermarket alarm.
