The G with the traction control etc. seems to handle as well as my CL did. I was never impressed with how the CL handled the snow--the heavy front end just made it want to plough! The miracles of technology!

Heck, I've driven a 76 pinto station wagon with shitty tires in the snow before without too much effort

Oh I know it CAN be done, I tried a couple times with my Mustang. I just like the dynamics of fwd better in the snow. My next DD will probably be fwd or maybe even awd, if there is something that is out at that time.

I really don't know
Maybe a E46 M3 or a 540i Sport. I actually like the SRT-6 Crossfire too.
I'll just wait and see.
I might just stick with my Jeep.

The only issue with the crossfire is the automatic tranny, but if you don't mind that, it is perfectly fine. I liked the car myself, but the transmission makes me sick.
I am looking at an F150 King Ranch Edition, hopefully I can find one used.

says "hello to my TLX".
I'll sell my CL in 5 yrs or less. There are so many cars that can come out from here till then so I really can't say. From the looks of it now, maybe the Audi S4 or
MB C55 AMG. Who knows?

a used CL600 v-12 is next for me. I know it would have to be like 5+ yrs. old, unless the business picks up. but i've been in love with them forever.
would even settle for a CL500-ha settle!

The thing is that I already have a rwd car, and I like the predictability of fwd in the snow. Sure it understeers, but thats why you have a handbrake. Plus, the VQ35 doesnt get anywhere close to the mpg compred to the J32, that is in real world driving.
As far as mpg, over 6000 miles I have been averaging between 17.8 and 18.3 mpg consistently with almost no highway driving.
Not too bad--about in line with what I was getting with the CL.

Well, have a Z Roadster for shits and giggles now; and a Jeep wrangler for having fun off-road. Next car will probably be a large German sedan purchased used. I have seen some smokin' prices on S430's and Audi S8's. Doubtful my next car will be purchased new, just lose too much money on them, let someone else take the hit. Possibly an E500 4Matic as well.

That's easy I'm already in it.
A SB 350z. Step down luxury wise from CL. But out of the box performance, pretty hard to beat. Not saying the Z is the be all and end all of performance cars. Not the fastest, but pretty fast for the everyday commute. Have gotten more stares and compliments in the 2months w/ the Z than the 3years w/ the CL. Not that I care, but it's a pretty cool feeling when you drive by in a Zaino'd Z and a kids jaw drops and you hear him go "WOW"!
Hopefully next January my wife will be parking a Maurano or Pathfinder next to the Z.
As for MB E55, M3, Skyline GTR, NSX and all the other cars mentioned. I'll be honest, I can't afford those. Realistically, won't be able to afford them if I want to live comfortably. I know myself, half the fun of owning a car as an enthusiast is modding. Those cars mentioned above cost an arm and a leg to mod (except GTR and NSX maybe), if you want it done right. Great cars out of the box, but come on, yall know your gonna mod it.
I said when I bought the CL that I was over the mod craze and wanted a balance between performance and luxury. That did not pan out cause I wanted to mod the shiet out of it after a month. Then came the tranny problems. So I realized that I will always want to mod my car. The Z has so much potential in that aspect. Sorry for the long a$$ post. That's just my 2 Filipino Pesos ( worth less than 2 cents). Good luck to all and be sure to post pics once yall get your next cars.

My next car is the Subaru 2.5 RS Coupe. They are pretty quick stock, but when get a turbo installed it will be like a WRX just half the size. They are rare though.

I just got my CL-S, but I've already been thinking about what'd I get to replace it if the need arose. As my wife is pregnant (found out a week after I got the CL-S), I'd probably get something a little more convenient for baby-hauling. My dad's got a CTS-V, which would be pretty sweet. From a more modest perspective, I'd definitely rather have a TL then the G35 sedan. I LOVE the look of the new 300C. On the other hand, I could see getting a MDX as I don't have any vehicles right now that can hold big stuff. No matter what happens to the CL though.... my NSX is staying with me for a long, long time.
