what would you have done?
So I stop behind a last generation (97-99?) 328i with an aftermarket exhaust to take a left turn. The light turns green and he pulls away "very" quickly and I follow at normal speed. At the next light, it's red and we have to stop but the right lane (2-lane street) was empty. I decided just to stay behind him. When the light turned green, he took off again, not WOT, but still very agressively.
Dammit, I keep complaining about no one wanting to race in Seattle. I can't believe I actually stayed behind him, not go into the adjacent lane, and let him think I wimped out. Would I even have beaten him? BTW, he had a passenger.
So, what would you guys have done? Flame suit on.

Those who have great cars feel confident enough that they don't need to prove it to others. A old zen saying-"Strong is the man who can defeat another, mighty is the man who can defeat himself." Besides is it worth an expensive ticket to prove to a stranger that you have a faster car?
