What is the worst, or slowest car, you for some reason lost to? Or raced someone but lost cause they were really modded out?

it was a highway run, I wasn't paying any attention cause I didn't think he had anything for me, turned out, I was wrong. By the time I realized he was really booking it, it was too late.

I lost to a mid 80s V8 T-bird at the track. He was a better sleeper than I. He had a midly modded 5.0 under the hood, and some huge meats on the back. I slept at the light, and could not run him down. He beat me by .01.
I also lost to a near stock 99+ Stang, this guy could drive. I think all he had was exhaust and he ran a 14.5 at elevation to my 14.8. At sea level he was around 14flat. Hardly a bad car to lose to, but I don't race that much.

Many years back at Atlanta Dragway I lost to two rust buckets. One was a trailer'd Mustang which looked like hell but ran sweet. He turned a 10.8 to my 14.2 (mid summer in my old GTP). Needless to say it felt like eternity before I crossed the line. There is nothing more humbling at the track than launching at the same time and being able to see the other lane's time when they finish well before you do.
The other was a station wagon; yes an old style mid 70's war wagon. Not unlike Clark Grizwald's. I was again in the low 14's to his high 12's. To top it off this guy was straight off the farm without a hair on his chin, doubt he was licensed yet. The thing was smoking and ran rough but certainly shocked the heck out of me.
Needless to say, I left the track early that night.

still a Masshole
a cab because he took off at the light and I wasn't paying attention. I half heartedly tried reeling him in to no avail (I didn't want to WOT so I did maybe three-quarter.)

I lost to a IS300 from a 50mph roll in my Mustang, but he was only inching away, and I later found out he was on the bottle. I think the worst I ever lost on the street was to a WS6 Trans Am. I killed him off the line, but by the time I shifted into 3rd he flew by like I wasnt even trying. He had only boltons and exhaust too.

I lost at last Import Wars to a Neon with 55 shot of NOS on DOT steet slicks (cheater) ... I just red lighted and the race was over. One month later, I read in teh NED Newspaper that the same guy won the import wars!!
Note: He breaked-out, so he lost too!, but my red-lighted is worse than break-out. So technically he won!
Nashua.

Pit Stop?
Bah.......I lost to a fucking SUNFIRE.....A GODDAMNED PONTIAC SUNFIRE.
It was a double turning lane. He was on the inside. I was on my stock tires that fucking squealed if I looked at them the wrong way (my rim was bent and I was in the process of getting new ones). He was on the inside. I was on the out. The light turned green and he took the turn way too fucking sharp, as close to the inside he could get, I took it wide so I wouldn't squeal. Once I hit the straight I did my best to catch back up.....
WHY IS THERE ALWAYS A FUCKING CAR IN MY LANE MAKING ME SLOW DOWN! FUCK!!!

Worst car I have recently lost to would be a 600 horsepower cobra mustang. LOL, that was in my blown s2k though. Looked pretty stock.
I was pumped when I had him out of first gear.... then his tires hooked up, and he was fucking gone. Later when he pulled over, I started talkngi to him and we both popped our hoods, I found out that he had a 150 shot of nitrous and about 5000 in mods.
I was very embarassed... but at least my girlfriend was hotter

had one actually go out of his way to catch up to me so he could have his ass handed to him. when the light turned green he lasted until i hit 5000 rpm in 1st gear then i pulled him hard.
by the time i reached the top of second he had given up. he was pretty far back there. i don't think he knew what hit him....
i normally would have shined him but he instigated.

WORST CAR LOST TO
a 60's bug..... need i say more? anyways i was in my last car.
a 02' nissan altima 3.5se 5spd manual/w stillen intake and exhuast.... when the light turned green that was the last time i saw the front of his car. he got me by about a car length to 70mph. and never once did i pull him, i'm sure eventually i would have caught him but that bug was heavily modded. it had some serious meats on it and it didn't sound like your average beetle.
you never know with those things.... i was embarrassed.....

Revving at 9K...
Modded WRX w/ FMIC....
Driving home from work, saw this black WRX and a big ass front mount zooming up behind me. I put my car in 3rd going about 60mph when he pull up next to me, and we both took off.. next thing I know was that he was GONE I just hear a high pitch turbo noise... and all I can see are bunch of black smoke he left behind.... That sucker was running rich!!

Lost to an 80's cutlass calleis (or however that stupid french sounding one is spelled) when i had my 82 Z28. Sad sad day, even though the tranny was so bad on that car it had about a 2-3 second delay before you would move.

Thats the one. A friend of mine had one. I know they are 180 HP but the thing burned oil at the rate of about a quart a day and had numerous mechanical issues. Then again so did my camaro, except for the oil burning lol.
