if i were you, i'd take it to a honda dealership body shop (acura would probably charge more) and get them to paint it the same color.

i think that's the best way, but it'll cost you something.

I think you are right about taking it to a the dealer or a "pro paint shop." The bumpers and other "flexible" parts require the addition of a "softener" in the paint to allow it to flex. Perhaps the dealer can recommend a good body shop, and they can color match or get the paint they use on the bumpers, etc...

$0.02...

I just put mine on yesterday, black mud guards on a silver cl-s. They were $56 from ahmotor. I think it looks great, as it blends in with the black tires and black trim around the windows (above the chrome trim). They do flex quite a bit, they are a soft rubber/plastic. Any paint on them may easily crack. Put them on as black first and try it for a month.

A question on the screws for the front guards. It took little effort to get them out, and they wouldn't tighten up hand tight going back in, would screw in all the way and would then keep turning. Will the mud guards cause them to shake/loosen out, or are they fine? Perhaps a dap of silicon?

Well, all but one of the screws tighten on my front mud guards. The one that doesn't, I've never had the problem of it coming off...even if it does, how much can that one screw cost to replace???

It depends on if that one screw gets stuck in your rear tire

I'm still riding on the stock rubber. If that happens, it'll just validate my excuse to buy better tires...heh heh
