I know its kind of a nub question but I see it all the time referring to headers. What exactly does it mean?

i would usually advise to search. but i think that this should be cleared up.

i believe it is the state of a system in which an abnormally large vibration is produced in response to an external stimulus, occurring when the frequency of the stimulus is the same, or nearly the same, as the natural vibration frequency of the system.

basically... the raspy canny sound of exhaust vibrations at around 2500rpms that comes from upgrades on our cars like headers with thin metal. or like taking off exhaust resonators.

Your absolutely right, i took off my resonator and i have a raspy sound at low rpms, which i do not like. I love the sound of it other than that, but am unsure how to get away from the raspiness but keep my tone/drone.. (magnaflow 14832 btw)
